Hi fellow frizz tops! If you’re here and want to tame frizzy hair then we can commiserate and fight the frizz together and learn how to get rid of frizz. All my life I’ve had the frizzies. I’ve tried to tame my frizzy hair by using practically every homemade remedy, from mayo-egg-avocado concoction to professional and store-bought treatments like the Brazilian keratin and even Botox for hair.
We all know that there are bigger problems to be solved out there in the world than learning how to tame frizzy hair, but let’s face it, for those of us who have frizz, we just never know when frizzy hair will strike. We can be at a special even, just had our hair done at the salon, or at the beach trying to look hot like the supermodels we see coming out of the water but we really look like an angry cat with its hackles up.
What’s more, people who have frizzy hair tend to have dry hair. Dry hair can be damaged due to over-processing, over-conditioning –yes-we’ll talk about that in another post- and the natural texture of the hair.
Most of us with frizzy hair have wavy to curly hair, so not only do we have to contend with frizz, but we have to learn how to style our hair without turning into the lion king. But believe it or not, even girls with straight hair can suffer from frizzy hair. No one is immune. If your hair is dry or damaged, then expect it to frizz up whenever you’re in a humid environment.
